Jazaeri Translated by sayyid jafar mosavi When the Prophet Moses(A.S.)called Pharaoh to believe in God,he disobeyed and thought that God cannot overcome him:''Pharaoh said:''O Haman!build me a lofty palace,that I may attain the ways and means of (reaching)the heavens and that I may think (Moses) is a liar!''Thus was made alluring,in Pharaoh's eyes,the evil of his deeds,and he was hindered from the path;and the plot of Pharaoh let to nothing prediction (for him).''(The Quran (40: 36-37) As Pharaoh said these words ridiculousy,God the Dominant because of that,sunk him in Nile river to be a lesson for others.Before this,God had predominated over all oppressors and arrogants. thus,He is the Dominator which all things are under His dominance and power. In this regard, the Holy Quran says:''He is the Irresistable, (watching) from above over His worshippers,and He sets guardians over you.At length,when death approaches one of you,Our angels take his soul,they never fail in their duty.Then men are returned unto Allah,their Protector, the(only)Reality:is not His command?And He is the swiftest in taking account.''(The Quran (6: 61-62) Indeed,God is the Dominator who can prevail over all people and force them to worship him;but He had given men the power of free will and wants them to worship him by their choice;but not by force.As He says:''Let him who will,belive, and let him who will,reject(it).(The Quran (18:29) In another Quranic verse,He also says:''Verily We created man from a drop of mingled sperm,in order to try him:so We gave him (the gifts)of Hearing and Sight.We showed him the Way:whether he be grateful or Ungrateful(rests on his will)''(The Quran (76: 2-3) If man will come to know that the Almighty God has conquered all things in the Universe for him as well as created him to be free and act according to his will,so he was not proude and did not commit any sin.And if man had been able to discover the mysteries of the nature,so God's power and dominance will be prevailed over him And if man is able to meet some of his needs,but he will also need His help. about in the Quran says:''(it grows)till the earth is clad with its golden ornaments and is decked out(in beauty):the people to whom it belongs think they have all powers of disposal over it: there reaches it Our command by night or by day,and We make it like a harvest clean mown,as if it had not flourished only the day before! Thus de We explain the signs in detail for those who reflect.''(The Quran (10:24) The above mentioned verse indicates that no one and nothing can be parallel to God.He is the First,the Last and the Permanent and consquently all lives of His creatures are in His hands.It is to be noted that Ghahhar comes only with other name of God(Wahid)which means unique and this shows that no one has power to prevail over Him and He is the only One who has power over everything and everyone. As the Holy Quran says:''Or do they assign to Allah partners who have created (anything)As He has created,so that the creation seemed to them similar?Say:''Allah is the Creator of all things:He is the One,the Supreme and Irresistible.''(The Quran (13: 16) O Weak Man!do not pride upon your abilities and power.All the beings of the Universe such as the sun,the moon,stars,mountains,plants and animals are the He created all of them. consquently, He is immortal, but not mortal.
